It’s amazing how in one generation our childhood experiences can change so dramatically! I’m sure most of us remember spending our days playing outside, rolling around in the grass and flooring it on our bikes around the neighbourhood with the kids down the road. Nowadays though more and more children are spending their days inside, in front of televisions, computers, iPads and electronic devices, which are occupying and consuming their minds and imaginations.
Well did you know that being outside and connecting to earth’s energy is actually good for your health. Crazy hey! It’s commonly referred to as earthing or grounding. The earth has its own electromagnetic field and constantly gives off negative ions, which our bodies love. In todays technical word our bodies are filled with EMF radiation and free radicals that cause a build up of positive electrons in our bodies, which we don’t want. Connecting to the earth and absorbing the negative ions neutralises the positive ones, bringing back balance and stability to our bodies. We are just energy after all.
When our bodies are more electrically stable they are better at self-regulating which means we are going to be less stressed, have more energy, sleep better and even heal faster. Our bodies are basically going to perform better therefore our immune systems will improve along with our blood circulation.
Have you every wondered why you keep getting an electric shock when you touch the car door or another person? More than likely it’s because your body is overpowered with positive ions and simply standing outside in bare feet allowing the earth to drain the static electricity from your body will restore the balance and stop those annoying shocks.
So get your child outdoors and barefoot as much as possible. Get them soaking up the earth’s goodness, be it running on dirt, standing on the grass or walking along the beach. The key is to ensure they are barefoot in order for their bodies to absorb our earth’s energy. Better yet, throw them in the ocean; our oceans and lakes are filled with negative ions.
Ensuring your child spends time outside grounding regularly is not only going to help them feel calmer and happier but it’s going to help align them with source energy. It’ll even give them a chance to physically ‘play’ and expand their minds as they utilize their imaginations and creativity. Hey they’ll even get a good dosing of Vitamin C from the sun while they’re at it.
