No doubt you have heard people say ‘we are all one’. Well it has now been scientifically proven that mind and matter are the same. Everything in our universe is connected. We are all vibrational beings. Humans, animals, insects, plants, oceans, gravity, air, space, the universe, our thoughts, feelings and the words we speak are all vibrations. Understanding that we at our core, are all one, and are unified and fundamentally the same is where enlightenment stems from. All of our experiences are linked and this unity is consciousness.
Unfortunately many of us are vibrating at a lower consciousness. We are caught up in our own world and in our own thoughts and emotions. We are materialistic and focused solely on our own success and image. We strive to be well recognized by our peers and society and we want the best of everything: that new Mercedes, the latest and most modern possessions and a plump bank account. We easily get frustrated and angry with others and ourselves. We hold grudges, gossip, whine about life and feel hard done by. We don’t question society or what we are told, rather we just take it on board as truth and except it for what it is or moan with little or no desire to take any action. We are stuck in a mundane world of hardship and struggle.
However, when we start vibrating at a higher level of consciousness we activate a higher part of our brain. In this state we are more sympathetic, calmer and anxiety is diminished. We are loving and supportive and we stop thinking only of ourselves but of others as well. We understand that we are connected and start taking responsibility for our thoughts and our actions. We realise that other peoples bad tempters or attitudes aren’t directed purely at us, rather they are acting on feelings of fear, anger, frustration and hurt. We know our relationships and lives are a reflection of our own thoughts and behaviours which can easily be changed.
When we are operating at this conscious level, we have a greater understanding of others, the world, and ourselves. We respect, value and support each other, our environment and all other life forms knowing that together we can create peace, love and abundance. The more people vibrating at this higher consciousness would see our world change dramatically. There would be no war, greed, poverty or hardship.
Unfortunately though, in today’s society we are taught from an early age that life is hard, we must work hard, make something of ourselves, fend for ourselves, and fit in and obey the rules and beliefs that society has created. Our higher consciousness and knowing is closed off and we function primarily off of our reptilian brain, the primitive and instinctive part of our brain.
By expanding our awareness and understanding of consciousness and making mindful decisions we can activate our higher consciousness and live more fulfilling and rewarding lives. This is needed now more than ever before for our children, our planet and ourselves.
So how can we teach our children to be more conscious?
- By teaching them that our thoughts and actions create our reality.
- By teaching them to trust their instinct.
- By teaching them that war and violence is never the answer.
- By teaching them that we are all equal.
- By teaching them to always live in hope.
- By teaching them love and compassion.
- By teaching them to be all that they can be.
- By teaching them that they are always supported.
- By teaching them mindful living.
- By teaching them that we are all one.
- By teaching them that anything is possible when they put their mind to it.
